The main text for today is 1 Kings 3:1-15 and the request of King Solomon. Above all, he petitioned God for wisdom to lead and to judge God’s great people. Through his genuine request for the wisdom of God he captured the heart of God. What if we were given one wish? What would it be? Pastor Redmond uses Solomon’s request as an example for us when he asks, what do you want most out of life? What does God want most for us? Do we genuinely have a heart for God?
